blah..
Not too much exciting to say.. it's cold, so I've been surfing the hobiecat forums a bit.. everytime I pull into the driveway, I see my little catamaran buried under a tarp and a couple feet of snow in the back yard, it makes me miss the warmth of summer!  So here is a pic of me sailing my cat from last year to cheer up my winter blues!

In other news, I leave for Montana on Tuesday!
Busy busy! Sick Sick!
So busy... no time to slow down with sickness!  I don't recall if I whined about my horrible wisdom teeth extraction issues on here or not... short version, dry socket followed by infected socket with a side of sinus infection.  Followed by another sinus infection.  Good times.  So I'm on amoxawhatever for the second time in a month, now I'm on a 22 day scrip... so that better be enough to kill this bastard.. and I also have some steroid nasal spray stuff, lookout hall of fame, I'll admit to using them!

Besides that crap, I have some good news... I'm going to Montana with Trish and Lisa next month to visit Trish's parents and hit up Big Sky to go skiing and other fun winter activities.  It should be a hoot, plus we are road tripping it, which is always an adventure!

What else?  Oh, going to play in a USA hockey tournament in Michigan next month too.. so I guess I'm fairly busy in Feb.

Worked on the Corrado last weekend, new starter and hood release cable.  w00t!  I started it up and let her warm up a bit... first time I had her running since October!  So, technically, she's ready for spring!  I'd like to put some shiny new brakes on but we'll see how that fits into the budget at a later date.
New video
I really wanted to get a new photo gallery up along with the new video but I'm just a little too busy right now.  Instead, you get a new video and a blog post by yours truly.

The aformentioned video, is a classic of Gregg and Steve jamming during convention, ends in hijinx... well maybe not hijinx, but it surely ends in laughter, like all things involving greggers!  Everyday I think about him and how much laughter he brought to his surroundings... he really did have an impact on everybody he touched on a daily basis.. the simplest things would get a good laugh and sometimes he would have you in tears laughing hysterically.  It's been awhile since we had one of those laughs and I really miss them.  It always brightened my day to hear him ask me, "what's up?"... or to have him razz me about my car.

I had a weird random thought, but I've decided to delete it.. meh, not the time or the place, really.  Don't worry, it wasn't anything profound, I rarely have anything to say that is of consequence.
aww yeah!
My tv is back home, safe and sound... and working!  Rocked out to some rockband last night.  Good times!
Liar Liar
I'm a damn dirty liar... I said that since I installed the new blog software that it was a ton easier to post and that I would do so much more often.. I pretty much have not done that.  I really will try to post more often though.

So whats new in my world?  Well...  I ordered a bunch of parts for my car... needs a new starter, hood release cable, and grille..  I really want to upgrade my brakes this year, hopefully I'll be able to do that still.

Rockband is kick ass!  If you haven't played it, you are missing out!  It's sort of a sequel to guitar hero, but not totally.  I guess some of the companies split up since guitar hero 2... one made gh3 and the other moved on to rockband, which is kick ass, or did I already say that?  In any case, it needs to be said again.  So much fun... drums, guitar, bass, and vocals.  Invite some friends over, have a couple of beers and play all night long.  It's a hoot!

Um, what else?  Had some issues with my Samsung DLP.. the initial reports were that my lamp needed to be replaced... which was odd because they are supposed to last 8000 hours.  Since the tv is only 14 months old, thats pretty much not really possible, well it is..  mathematically, it's about 19 hours of tv a day for 14 months, but realistically... I had a bad lamp.  Anyways, 2 months out of warranty, I bought a new lamp.  Two hundred bones later, I have a working tv.  Worked for 3-4 days and then went back to telling me the lamp needed to be replaced, wow 8000 hours in 4 days, thats unpossible!  Off to the service center with my 46" baby...  A day later, I'm informed that the lamp power supply is faulty and that it didn't hurt my lamp, phewww!  Hopefully, another two hundred bones later, I'll have a working tv and a spare lamp for future use.  Waiting for a part, so I might have to go a few more days without it... which isn't a big deal in regards to TV... but damnit, I want to play rockband!

Christmas and New Year's were all good fun, had a little gtg with rockband at my joint with a few peeps, thanks to Branden for loaning out his rocking gear!  Family gathering was held at Mike's new house in Oconomowoc, that was a good time, he got a Wii for Christmas, so we had some fun with Wii Sports.  New Year's at the Esslinger's cottage in Princeton was a hoot!  Some bowling, guitar hero, rockband, karaoke, and of course... some drinking!  Good times!

Somebody stole my ipod video. :(  Apparently living in the ghetto means your car is safe, but living in a good part of town means its not!  Left the jeep at my parents' house one night and my ipod was stolen... but it's been in my jeep in the ghetto for years without issue.  So I'm back to the radio in the jeep, which sucks the life out of me!  I need a new daily driver that I can drive all year and keep the corrado as my good weather/show car... I'm thinking mk4 gti (1.8t or vr) or golf tdi... golf would really be the smartest because you can really easily modify that engine to put down some decent HP and torque without giving up the great diesel gas mileage.

Wow... so this long post makes up for my lack of posting, right?  I really should make some more photo galleries too.. I've been lazy, or busy.. or a combination.
